In the year 2022, TV actor Sachin Shroff entered ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ as Tarak Mehta. He replaced Shailesh Lodha. If Sachin is to be believed, he agreed to do ‘Tarak…’ on the insistence of Bobby Deol. Actually, Sachin and Bobby have worked together in the web series ‘Ashram’. During the shooting, both of them became friends and their friendship continues till now.
Sachin Shroff has worked in many TV shows including ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai’, ‘Naagin’, ‘Saath Phere’, ‘Shagun’.
Bobby Deol was told about the offer of ‘Tarak Mehta…’
In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, the actor says, ‘Bobby is a good friend of mine. It has been almost five years, we are in touch with each other. During the shooting of ‘Ashram 3’, I got a call for ‘Tarak Mehta…’. I discussed this with Bobby. He said- ‘Sachin, this is a very good show. You should definitely do this. You go and meet the makers.’ I followed his advice and had a meeting with the show makers. So what? Today I am a part of this show.
Bobby has achieved mastery in transformation
Sachin further says about Bobby Deol, ‘Bobby is a natural actor. The truth is that he does not need to act. His face is very innocent. So when he plays a negative role, he completely transforms himself. Like he did in the film ‘Animal’. This is a huge victory for an actor. Bobby has mastered the matter of transformation.’

Some episodes of the series ‘Ashram 4’ are ready
Three seasons of ‘Aashram’ have been released. Regarding the final season, Sachin says, ‘We are trying our best to deliver Season 4, that is, the final chapter, to the audience. Some episodes are also ready. Now when Prakash ji (filmmaker Prakash Jha) gets time, he will work on it. Currently, he is busy with another project. Also, it is very important to get the dates of all the actors. At the right time, we will definitely present something good to the audience.’

I am sure that slowly people will accept me
Talking about the show ‘Tarak Mehta…’, after being associated with the show for 14 years, Shailesh suddenly left the show. Fans are missing him a lot. Regarding this, Sachin says, ‘I cannot do mimicry. Whatever I do, I do it naturally. The audience was watching one flavor for the last 14 years. Suddenly that flavor was replaced with another flavor. It was not easy for the audience to accept this. Anyway, this is a journey for me. I am sure that slowly people will accept me.’
Sachin gained recognition from the serial ‘Sindoor Tere Naam Ka’.
Many controversies were also associated with this show
In the last few years, this show has been linked to many controversies. The producer did not get along with some of the actors, and in one case, a former actor even accused him of sexual harassment. Regarding this, Sachin says, ‘Whenever there is any controversy, our producer Asit Modi instructs us to stay away from all these things.
According to him, the focus of the team should be only on entertaining the people. He assures us that he will personally handle all these things. The actors need not worry.
Sachin Shroff married Chandni in a private wedding ceremony with family and friends on February 25 in Mumbai.

Talking about his personal life, Sachin Shroff married TV actress Juhi Parmar in 2009. Sachin and Juhi’s marriage lasted only 6 years. Both of them got divorced in 2015. Last year, at the age of 43, Sachin Shroff got married for the second time. Regarding this, he said, ‘It was not at all difficult for me to take the decision of marriage at this stage of my life. By the way, if you think about it, then this is a very big decision. I believe that it is very important to have a companion in this journey. I am satisfied with my decision.’
