Earlier, Sharmin Segal had worked in uncle Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Malaal’, during the shooting of which the actress’ eyes were filled with tears.
During the promotion of ‘Malaal’, Sharmin had told that the producer of the film Sanjay Leela Bhansali had come to the set one day. The actress was shooting a song that day. She was very nervous seeing her uncle on the set. During an interview with Radio City, Sharmin Sehgal said, ‘That day I was ruined in one shot. I normally give 15 takes. It took me 25 takes that day. Then the shot was finalized.’
Sharmin Sehgal cried after 30 takes
Sharmin Sehgal further said, ‘The preparation I had done for the whole day was gone in just one shot. Then I went inside the vanity van, then Sir came inside and said that I am enjoying a lot. I am going to stay for one more shot. I went to the set. 30 takes were done but the shot was not finalized, after that I got very frustrated. He did not shout at me. He did not say anything except that you have to do this and I could not do it. I cried after 30 takes.’
Sharmin’s first film was released in the year 2019
Let us tell you that ‘Malaal’ was Sharmin Sehgal’s debut film. With this, she entered the world of acting. At the same time, Meezaan Jafri also started his career in ‘Malaal’. Released in the year 2019, this film did not get good reviews from critics and the movie flopped at the box office.
