New Delhi. Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita Shetty has shared a video of herself from the hospital. While sharing the video, she has told that she has undergone surgery for endometriosis. Now this video of Shamita is becoming quite viral on social media.
While sharing this video, Shamita has written in the caption, ‘Do you know that about 40 percent of women are suffering from endometriosis and most of us are unaware of this disease.’ She added: “I would like to thank both my doctors, my gynecologist Dr Neeta Varty and my GP Dr Sunita Banerjee, for not stopping until they found the root cause of my pain.
In the video captured by her sister Shilpa Shetty, Shamita is on the hospital bed, with Shilpa commenting, “What a scene? Wow, what happened? To this, Shamita replied, “I have endometriosis, I didn’t even know what it was.” Further Shilpa then asks, ‘Why should they know?’, to which Shamita replies, because maybe you have it and you don’t even know you have it and it is painful. It is also uncomfortable.
