WWE superstar and actor John Cena also attended the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which took place in Mumbai from 12 to 14 July.
In this party, John met Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, a picture of which he himself shared on his social media account.

Now in an interview, John has shared his experience of meeting Shahrukh and eating Indian spicy food. John said that meeting Shahrukh was a very emotional moment for him because he is very motivated by the actor. John also said that he would like to come to India again and eat spicy food.
Shahrukh’s speech changed my life: John
Talking to ANI, John Cena said, ‘It was an emotional moment for me. I was shaking hands with a person who has had a huge impact on my life. I also shared this with him. It was a beautiful meeting.’
John further said- ‘Shahrukh gave a speech in TED Talk which I got at the right time in my life. His words proved to be very inspirational for me and it changed my life.’
‘Indian food was a bit spicy for me’
In this interview, John also discussed the Indian food he tasted at the wedding function. He said, ‘There was a good balance of food and drinks at Ambani’s wedding. They served Indian food and Indian street food very well. The food was amazing.
However, it was a bit too spicy for me. At least spicy enough to make me sweat a little. Still, I am looking forward to going back to India soon and eating spicy food there.’
On the work front, John will soon be seen with Priyanka Chopra in ‘Heads of State’. The shooting of this film has been completed. Apart from this, he will also be seen in the film ‘Jackpot’ which will be released on OTT soon.
