New Delhi. Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise in 2021 shocked everyone and Sanjeeda Sheikh was no different. In a recent interview, the ‘Heeramandi’ star recalled how she couldn’t accept Sidharth’s death when she first learned about it. Sanjeeda and Sidharth worked together for a year on the TV show ‘Jaane Pehchaane Se… Yeh Ajnabi’.

Sanjeeda, while talking to Siddharth Kannan recently, told that she last spoke to Siddharth three months before his death. She told that Siddharth was happy and was very excited about his upcoming career. She said, “I had a conversation with him just three months before his death. When COVID was going on. He told me, ‘Sanju, I will do something.’ Bigg Boss gave him so much love and respect from the audience that he had become a confident person. He had become a very different and special person himself compared to when we worked together years ago. It looked very handsome. He deserved the love and appreciation he got at that time. Sanjeeda Sheikh said, “I worked with Siddharth Shukla for a year and when he passed away, I felt it was a personal loss. We were good friends and had a good understanding between us. I remember I was shooting in Amritsar for my Punjabi film and I got a call from my friend, who told me that he is no more. It took me some time to accept it, but at that time I also understood my strength.

Sanjeeda Sheikh said it was ‘tough’ to shoot funny scenes after Sidharth’s death. Sanjeeda also revealed that she was in Amritsar shooting for one of her films when she came to know about Sidharth’s death. The actress recalled that even after knowing about Sidharth’s death, she had to shoot a funny scene and which felt quite ‘horrifying’. The actress said, “I understood that an actor has to forget everything while acting.
