Amidst receiving continuous death threats, Salman Khan will start shooting for his upcoming film ‘Sikander’ in Mumbai from June 18.
Actress Rashmika Mandana will be seen opposite Salman in this film. She will also shoot some of her scenes in this first schedule.
In this schedule, the makers are planning to shoot an air-action sequence of the film. This film, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, will be released on Eid next year.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Salman and director A.R Murugadoss will work together for the first time on this film.
Attempted attack twice in 3 months
There have been two attempts to attack Salman in the last 3 months. First, on April 14, firing was done at his Galaxy Apartment in Bandra at 5 am.
Apart from this, in the end of May, Navi Mumbai Police arrested four people of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang who were planning to attack Salman’s car in Panvel.

Salman has previously given many hit films with producer Sajid Nadiadwala including ‘Judwaa’, ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and ‘Kick’. Before ‘Sikander’, Murugadoss and Salman have also worked together on the film ‘Jai Ho’ released in 2014. Murugadoss was the writer of that film.
