New Delhi. ‘Kantara’ star Rishabh Shetty is making a lot of headlines these days. The blockbuster film ‘Kantara’ has received the National Award and he has also been awarded the National Award. But recently, after being awarded the 70th National Film Award, he made a comment about Bollywood, which people did not like at all and took him to task.

Rishabh Shetty took a dig at Bollywood and said, ‘Bollywood shows India in a wrong way.’ Hearing this, people did not delay in criticizing him.

In fact, in his viral interview of Metro Saga, Rishab Shetty expressed his disappointment over the portrayal of India by Bollywood at international film events. Speaking in Kannada, the actor says- ‘Indian films, especially Bollywood, show India in a bad light. These art films are invited to global events and given the red carpet. My nation, my state, my language-my pride. Why not take it in a positive way globally and that’s what I try to do’.
