The release date of the most awaited film Pushpa 2 has been postponed. The film was earlier scheduled to release in theatres on 15th August. But according to recent reports, the film will not release on this day.

According to the information received, some parts of the film are yet to be shot, which may take a month to complete. The makers will complete the shooting by the end of July. Then the post-production work will begin.

However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the change in the release date. There is also no update on which date the film will be released now.

The film may suffer a loss of Rs 30 crores

The change in the release date can cause huge losses to the film. 15th August is a national holiday. Due to this, the film could have earned a lot on its first day.

According to a report, the film could have earned 180-200 crores on the opening day in North, South, East and West. Whereas, the film could have earned up to 65 crores in the Hindi belt alone.

In this way, due to the change in release date, the film may suffer a loss of about Rs 30 crore. If the film had released on 15 August, it would have got a long weekend of 4 days.

Now Akshay Kumar’s film will be released on 15th August

Last Wednesday, trade expert Taran Adarsh ​​shared a post on social media and informed that Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ is ready to release on 15th August. This film is being directed by Mudassar Aziz. Apart from Akshay, actors like Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu will be seen in the film.

This film of Akshay was earlier going to be released on 6th September. But now it is releasing on 15th August. From which it is becoming clear that the film Pushpa 2 is not releasing on this day.

‘Pushpa: The Rise’, released in 2021, was the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. Combining all versions, the film did a lifetime business of Rs 313 crore in India and Rs 350 crore worldwide. It is at number six in the list of highest-grossing Telugu films.
