New Delhi. Sunny Deol is in a lot of trouble these days. Filmmaker Saurav Gupta had made serious allegations against the actor the other day. He had accused Sunny Deol of not shooting the film despite taking the money. According to filmmaker Saurav Gupta, the actor did not work in the film despite taking the signing amount nor did he return the money. After Sunny Deol went back on his promise, the filmmaker was forced to file a complaint with the police.
So far Sunny Deol has not commented on this whole matter. However, now his lawyer Rizwan Merchant has presented the actor’s side in this whole matter while talking to ETimes. Without revealing much about this case of Sunny Deol, Rizwan Merchant says that there is no substance in this case against the actor. He told that his client has not signed any such contract between 2016-2024.
According to Saurav Gupta, in 2016, a legal contract was signed between the two in which all the money transactions were written down and it was clearly stated that if for any reason the contract is not completed, the actor will have to return the money taken. However, according to the filmmaker, Sunny Deol did not do so and he also got the agreement papers changed.
Let us tell you, apart from Saurav Gupta, filmmaker Sunil Darshan also claimed that he too has faced similar problem with Sunny. Sunil Darshan alleged that Sunny Deol acquired the rights of his film ‘Ajay’ (1996) for foreign distribution and paid only a few percent.
Now if we talk about the work front, Sunny Deol was last seen in the film ‘Gadar 2’ which was released last year. This film did a lot of business at the box office and earned 10 times more profit than its cost.
