There are reports that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are going to get married on June 23. A day before, the digital card of their wedding was also leaked, but both of them did not officially confirm it.
Now actress Poonam Dhillon has confirmed their marriage. Talking to Instant Bollywood, Poonam said- She (Sonakshi) has sent us a very lovely invite. I know Sonakshi since she was a child. I have seen her entire journey. May God keep her happy. She is a very sweet girl. I want her to be very happy, I wish for this.
Requested Zaheer Iqbal to keep Sonakshi happy
Poonam also requested Zaheer Iqbal to keep Sonakshi happy. She said- Zaheer please keep her happy. Remember she is a very sweet girl. She is very precious to all of us.
Father did not confirm the news of daughter’s marriage
While talking to Bombay Times, Shatrughan Sinha talked about Sonakshi’s marriage. He said- I have only one daughter. I am neither confirming nor denying the news of her marriage. Only time will tell. My blessings are always with her.
A few days ago when he was asked about Sonakshi’s marriage, Shatrughan had said- I don’t know about it. Anyway, kids these days hardly listen to their parents.
It was guessed from his statement that he was not happy with his daughter’s marriage.
Sonakshi-Zaheer postponed the shooting of the film because of marriage
Sarvesh Goyal is shooting for Sonakshi and Zaheer’s upcoming film Tu Hai Meri Kiran. Talking to Hindustan Times, he said that Zaheer and Sonakshi did not tell him anything about their marriage. However, Sarvesh wants both of them to complete their part of the shooting soon, so that the project work can be completed on time. However, the makers are not getting dates from Sonakshi and Zaheer.
Sarvesh says- I came to know on 9th June that both of them are going to get married. Then I understood why the shooting dates are not getting finalized.
According to the information received, Sonakshi and Zaheer will have a registered marriage on June 23 in the presence of family and close friends. After this, a party will be hosted to celebrate the marriage at Shilpa Shetty’s famous restaurant Bastian.
