Panchayat 3 Review: The story of ‘Phulera’ is not over, the picture is still left…

Well… finally the moment has arrived which everyone was waiting for. The audience was eagerly waiting for Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘Panchayat Season 3’ for the last 2 years. Its second season was released on 18 May 2022 and its third season has also been released on 28 May 2024. Now this question must be arising in your mind that how is this season?

Actually, many people said that after the first and second season, the story of ‘Panchayat Season 3’ might get a little weak, but this is not the case at all. The story of this season is such that you will wait for its fourth season i.e. the story of Phulera village is not over yet, but the picture is still left. Like the last two seasons, this time also all the characters of the series will win your heart.

From Jitendra Kumar (Abhishek Tripathi, secretary of Phulera gram panchayat) to Neena Gupta (Manju Devi Dubey, pradhan), Raghubir Yadav (Brij Bhushan Dubey, pradhan’s husband ‘Pradhanji’), Faisal Malik (Prahlad, deputy pradhan), Sanvika (pradhan’s daughter ‘Rinki’) and Chandan Roy (Vikas, office assistant of gram panchayat), the cast will not let you blink even a moment.

The story of season 3 begins from where the second season ended. Abhishek Tripathi has been transferred and the new secretary steps into Phulera village. Pradhan ji, Vikas and Prahlad are not at all happy with Abhishek’s departure and they want a new secretary to join, because once the new secretary joins, it will be very difficult for Pradhan ji to bring Abhishek back to Phulera.

Now you will see actor Vinod Suryavanshi as the new secretary, although his screen space is a little less but for the time he appears in the series, he proves to be successful in making people laugh. This new secretary, who claims to be the special one of the MLA, does not have any say and he has to return from the village. Well, Phulera is unable to get a new secretary and Abhishek returns to the village. With his return, new challenges start coming in front of him again in Phulera.

Not only Pradhan Ji, Vikas and Prahlad are happy with the return of the Secretary, but Rinki is equally happy. The love chemistry of both of them is also seen in this season. At the same time, this time you will also get to see a new avatar of Durgesh Kumar in the character of Bhushan. In this season, he is seen in much more power than before. Overall, this time there is a lot of uproar in Phulera village, because Panchayat elections are also around the corner.

When you enter the last episode of this series i.e. the 8th episode, you will wish that there was an episode after this, because where the story of this season has ended, you will be very excited to know the story ahead. In such a situation, it has become clear that the makers will now start preparing for its fourth season and just like new seasons of this series have been coming in a gap of 2 years, its fourth season should also come after 2 years.

Now if we talk about acting in this season, from Jitendra to Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, everyone is seen doing justice to their acting. Like the last two seasons, everyone has shown excellent acting in this season too. The only thing that is lacking in this season is the speed. While watching the series, many times you will feel that the story has become a bit slow, however it soon picks up speed.

Talking about direction, Deepak Kumar Mishra will win the hearts of the audience with his direction this time too. He has shown excellent direction this time too. Talking about location, you will not get to see any new set in the series, you will definitely get to see ‘Shaheed Rahul Pandey Kendriya Pustakalaya’ in the name of Prahlad’s son in front of the Panchayat office in the village. So overall, you are going to like the third season of ‘Panchayat’ a lot. I give 3.5 rating to the third season of ‘Panchayat’.
