New Delhi: The teaser of Kannada film ‘Powder’ is one minute, 45 seconds long. The video starts with a message – ‘Powder: A fun-filled Indian film from the Kannada film industry’ and highlights the underlying emotions of greed, lust, love and the need for people to be friendly. It promises to be a highly entertaining film that follows a group of small-town youth with big ambitions who try to get rich quick and stumble at every step. Enemies are searching for them all the time. At its core is a mysterious ‘powder’ whose demand and price are both very high.
Talking about the film, KRG’s Kartik Gowda and TVF’s Arunabh Kumar said, ‘Our endeavor is to bring forward different stories. ‘Powder’ is our first collaboration and we hope the audience will like it a lot. We have been fans of some amazing comedy films like ‘Delhi Belly’, ‘Fukrey’ franchise and the recently released ‘Margao Express’. We believe that we have made a fun-filled and entertaining film for the Kannada audience and the youth everywhere.’\
The film stars further said, ‘We hope that the audience will enjoy the film and we remain committed to bringing more interesting stories in the future.’ The film marks TVF’s entry into motion pictures and their first Kannada presentation. The film is directed by Janardhan Chikkanna and produced by Karthik Gowda, Yogi G. Raaz is produced by Vijay Subramaniam and Arunabh Kumar. It also stars Rangayana Raghu, Anirudh Acharya and others. This film is ready to release on screens on July 12.
