Nitish Kumar felt like watching a movie and he reached the cinema hall on a rickshaw, the movie became a hit…

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to form the government at the center for the third time. Two parties have a major role in the formation of Modi Government 3.0 – Janata Dal-U led by Nitish Kumar and Telugu Desam Party-TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu. In these too, many kinds of discussions are floating in the political corridors about Nitish Kumar. Because if we look at Nitish Kumar’s record till now, then it cannot be said when he will change his words.

Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal-U has won 12 seats in this election and TDP has won 16. BJP will need the support of these two parties to run a stable government. This is the reason why the demand for Nitish Kumar in the new government is continuously increasing.

Political sources say that on the formation of the new government, Nitish Kumar has put forth the condition of giving special state status to Bihar along with one ministry for every four MPs before Narendra Modi. JDU has 12 MPs, according to this JDU wants 3 ministries. And among them, Nitish Kumar wants the ministries of Railways, Agriculture and Finance.

Nitish Kumar is called the magician of politics. Whatever he decides to do, he does not rest until he completes it. One such incident is from 2009 when Nitish Kumar had a desire to watch the movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. As he had no means to go to the cinema hall, he went to watch the movie by riding a cycle-rickshaw. Not only this, Nitish Kumar liked the movie so much that he even appealed to all his colleagues to watch it. Then what… due to this step of Nitish, the flop movie suddenly became a hit.

Mention of the incident of Nitish Kumar watching a film ‘Nitish Kumar: Through the eyes of close friends‘ This has been mentioned in the book. This book has been written by his friend Uday Kant. Here is an interesting excerpt from the book-

On 2 March 2009, the Election Commission announced the dates for the 15th Lok Sabha elections (16 April to 13 May). During those days, the movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ was being screened in a cinema hall in Patna. This movie had won eight Oscar awards. Nitish Kumar was very eager to watch this movie. As soon as the election date was announced, the code of conduct was implemented. He could not ride a government vehicle for personal work. Nitish Kumar did not have any other vehicle available. He had heard so much good things about this movie that he decided to watch it at any cost. When he felt like it, he went to watch the movie on 5 March riding a cycle rickshaw. On returning, he called the Rasamanjariya party and told them that he liked the movie very much and also recommended everyone to watch it. Some people called Nitish Kumar’s going to watch the movie on a rickshaw as his publicity stunt. What publicity was Nitish going to get, but after Nitish’s praise, this film which was a flop, got wings and this film which was a flop, became a hit in Patna!
