‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ fame producer honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke Award, got the honour for this film

New Delhi: Famous Bhojpuri film producer and distributor Nishant Ujjwal was given the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award for Best Bhojpuri Film Producer for his popular Bhojpuri film ‘My – The Pride of Bhojpuri’. This award was given to him by Kashmir Files and Mary Kom fame Darshan Kumar and Indian Pictures Producer Association President Abhay Sinha during a grand ceremony held at the auditorium in Juhu, Mumbai. Nishant Ujjwal is overwhelmed to receive this award. He said that I thank the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award for considering me worthy of this award. This award has increased my responsibility even more.

At the same award ceremony, famous director Rajneesh Mishra received the Best Director award for Nishant Ujjwal’s film ‘My – The Pride of Bhojpuri’. Smriti Sinha received the Best Actress award for Bewafa Sanam and Pawan Singh received the Best Actor award for the same film. Apart from this, Anil Sharma received the Best Director award for Gadar 2 in Hindi. Manish Badhwa was given this award for villain, Simrat Kaur for New Face, Karan Mehra, Chahat Pandey, Ronit Roy for television, apart from Deepak Tijori, Poonam Dhillon, Rajpal Yadav, Pratik Gandhi, Udit Narayan, Ali Goni. Let us tell you that this award has already been given to many veterans like King Khan i.e. Shahrukh Khan and Bhushan Kumar.
