Mika Singh supports Kangana Ranaut and says Punjabi ladies will be suspended from jobs due to one mistake

New Delhi. Bollywood pop singer Mika Singh on Thursday condemned CISF personnel Kulwinder Kaur for slapping actress-politician Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport and said the entire Sikh community will be affected by the incident. He said Kulwinder should have shown her anger towards Kangana outside the airport when she was not on duty.

Calling the entire incident ‘disappointing’, Mika said that the job of CISF personnel was to ensure the safety of the people, not to attack them. He wrote- We Punjabi / Sikh community have earned respect worldwide for our service and as protectors. Disappointed to know about the airport incident with #Kangana Ranaut. #CISF constable was on duty at the airport and it was her job to ensure the safety of the people around.

On Thursday, when Kangana was going to Parliament after winning the Lok Sabha election from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, she was slapped by CISF jawan Kulwinder Kaur. Kaur said that she was angry with the actress because she called the farmers ‘terrorists’. She was later suspended and a committee has been formed to investigate the incident.

Mika does not stop here, he further writes – It is sad that he thought it appropriate to attack a passenger at the airport due to his personal anger in some other matter. He should have shown his anger in civil dress outside the airport. But this is not the way to express your feelings.

Mika expressed concern that this incident could affect the jobs of other Punjabi women as well. He wrote, “This act of hers will now affect other Punjabi women as well and it is possible that they may be fired from their jobs just because of one person’s mistake. Mika clarified that he is not supporting any particular political party and is only speaking against wrong things.
