Mani Ratnam’s upcoming films: While Mani Ratnam’s legacy is long, the filmmaker tries to bring something new to the screen with each release. He is now gearing up for his upcoming film, titled Thug Life. It is an action film, which will star actor Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Raj Kamal Films International will produce Thug Life in association with Madras Talkies. Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Dulquer Salmaan, Abhirami and Nasser are among the cast of the film. Mani Ratnam will work with cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad and music composer AR Rahman.
