Had to spend nights in jail for 2 years
After reaching the pinnacle of success and popularity, Daler Mehndi also faced a bad phase in his life. In 2003, Daler Mehndi and his brother Shamsher Singh’s name came up in the pigeon-flying case. Daler was accused of illegally taking 10 people with him to America while going for a show. In this case, Daler Mehndi had to stay in jail for 2 years, where he was badly mistreated.

Let us tell you that in an interview, Daler himself had said that it was the worst phase of his life. He had said that I was framed in a false case. A police officer misbehaved with me in the jail. He was abused. He did not get any VIP facilities and he had to sleep on the floor of the jail.
