About 3 years after becoming popular with this film, in the year 2011, a sensational news came in Bollywood, after hearing which everyone was shocked. The news was that someone brutally murdered actress Laila Khan. Along with her, her mother and 6 people were also killed. However, after the death, no body was found. Later when the police investigated it, the matter turned out to be something else.
Laila Khan was born in Pakistan in 1978 and her real name was Reshma Patel. Her mother was Celina Patel, who had three marriages. Celina Patel’s first marriage was with Nadir Shah Patel, whose daughter was Laila Khan. Laila’s father also lived in Mumbai, but Laila lived with her mother and her siblings. It is said that Laila Khan’s mother Celina had property worth crores in Mumbai at that time. Laila’s career was not going well, so her mother planned to sell all the property and shift to Dubai.
Debut film proved to be a flop
Laila started her career with the Kannada film Makeup. Four years after its release, Laila Khan made her debut in Hindi films in 2008 with the film ‘Wafa A Deadly Love Story’. Rajesh Khanna was in the lead role in this film. In the film, Laila created a stir in the film industry by romancing with Rajesh Khanna, who was twice her age, and giving many intimate scenes. However, this film of hers proved to be a huge flop.
Mother had a lot of money and property
It is said that Laila’s mother had a lot of money and property, due to greed for which Laila’s stepfather Parvez Tak killed Laila Khan, mother Shelina and other family members. Parvez killed Laila Khan and her mother Shelina Khan and other family members and buried their bodies in the farm house.
The second accused is still absconding
In this case, a missing complaint of 6 people was first registered in Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station in 2011. This case remained complicated for a long time. However, the police recovered 6 skeletons from a farm house in Igatpuri in July 2012. In October 2012, the Mumbai police filed its chargesheet in the Laila Khan murder case. The police recovered the bodies and identified them through DNA tests. The second accused in this case, Shakir Hussain, is still absconding. The police have not been able to catch him yet.
