Filmmaker Karan Johar has reacted to the slapping incident by actress and MP Kangana Ranaut. He said that he does not support any kind of violence. However, he did not take Kangana’s name during this time.

Kangana and Karan are often at loggerheads over the issue of nepotism. Kangana has accused Karan several times of promoting nepotism. Kangana has even tagged Karan as a nepo mafia.

Let us tell you, after winning the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi seat, Kangana was slapped by CISF female constable Kulwinder Kaur at Chandigarh airport on June 6. It was revealed that the accused female constable was angry with Kangana’s statement during the farmers’ movement.

Last Wednesday (13 June) evening, the trailer launch event of the film Kill was held in Mumbai. The film’s co-producer Karan Johar was also present at this event. Here Karan was questioned about Kangana’s slapping incident. On hearing the question, Karan remained silent for a moment and said- Look, I do not support any kind of violence, whether it is verbal or physical.

After this Karan Johar did not make any comment.

Many actors of the industry came out in support of Kangana in the slapping case. Anupam Kher, Shekhar Suman, singer Mika Singh expressed their displeasure over this incident. These people also demanded punishment against the CISF woman constable Kulwinder who slapped Kangana.

Know what was the whole incident

After winning the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi seat, Kangana was slapped by CISF woman constable Kulwinder Kaur at Chandigarh airport on Thursday (6 June). Kangana was going from Chandigarh to Delhi. Then during the security check at the airport, she had an argument with the woman constable and slapped her.

A video of the woman constable surfaced at that time in which she is saying, ‘Kangana had said that people are sitting in the farmers’ movement for Rs 100 each. When she gave this statement, my mother was also sitting there.’

Kulwinder was very angry with the statement given by Kangana Ranaut during the farmers’ movement. Due to this, she attacked Kangana. She was taken into custody immediately after the attack.

Kangana’s allegation- Female soldier abused me

Kangana had also confirmed this incident by sharing a story on Instagram. She had said, ‘I am safe. Today, an incident happened with me at Chandigarh airport. A female soldier at the airport started abusing me. She told me that she is a supporter of the farmers’ movement. She came from the side and hit me on the face. I am safe, but I am worried about the growing extremism and terrorism in Punjab. This will have to be handled somehow.’
