‘It’s stupid to give advice to seniors…’, what did the producer of ‘The Kerala Story’ say about Akshay Kumar’s flop films

New Delhi. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is going through the worst phase of his career. Except ‘OMG 2’ released last year, none of his films did well. ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ which was released in April this year was made on a budget of 350 crores, which could not even do a business of 100 crores at the box office. Now producer-director Vipul Shah has spoken openly about Akshay Kumar’s box office failure.

Vipul Shah has worked with Akshay Kumar in many films, including ‘Namastey London’, ‘Singh is King’, ‘Aankhen’, ‘Waqt’ and many others. In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Vipul Shah said, ‘We consider Sachin Tendulkar the God of cricket. He has gone through a bad phase in his career. Many people may have given him advice, but he himself figured out how to come out of it.’
