New Delhi. Indian cinema has completed 110 years. The Indian Postal Department declared the year 2014-2024 as the decade of preserving the heritage of Indian cinema and issued a special postage stamp. Amitabh Bachchan has expressed happiness over this. The year 2014 marked the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema. The Film Heritage Foundation was established in the same year. This organization started working on the preservation of India’s classic and historical films.
He has become the brand ambassador of this campaign of Film Heritage Foundation. He attended the recent event and praised this campaign. Amitabh Bachchan shared a post with several pictures on his social media account. The first two pictures are of postage stamps and postage based on Film Heritage Foundation. The rest of the pictures are from the event.
