Even though today Manoj Bajpayee is working with big stars, there was a time when he was rejected. Recently, Manoj Bajpayee remembered his days of struggle in Mumbai and told how he had to face three rejections in a day.
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Manoj Bajpayee told that he had got a show, but he was thrown out after giving the first shot. He said, ‘It was the first day’s shoot. I gave the first take. After that it was seen that the director and assistant directors were whispering among themselves. I saw that the director had left. The Associate Director followed him and then the Assistant Director also left. Then there was only me and the camera at that place.
Chief Assistant Director had said this
The actor said, ‘I am wondering where everyone has gone. Then the Chief Assistant Director came and said to take off the clothes and wear your clothes. I will call later. I asked whether my acting was not good? He said that he could not understand anything.
