The police took immediate action and arrested the accused. In this case, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has now recorded Salman Khan’s statement. Actor Salman Khan has revealed that on April 14, he woke up to the sound of gunfire. When two bike riders opened fire outside his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Earlier, Mumbai Police has also recorded the statements of Salman’s brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. Both the brothers had given statements to the police in this case on June 4.

Police said that a four-member team including an officer of the Mumbai Crime Branch had reached the actor’s house on June 4 to record the statement of Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz. Both the brothers were questioned for a total of six hours. Salman Khan told the police that he realized that his life was in danger and thanked the officers for their help during the investigation of the case.
When Salman Khan woke up hearing the sound of bullet
According to a report by NDTV, Salman Khan told the police in his statement that he was at home on the day of the incident and slept after a party till late night. He told the police that he woke up due to the sound of a bullet in the balcony of his flat. The ‘Dabangg’ actor said that after waking up with a jolt, he went to the balcony and looked outside but he did not see anyone.
Salman’s statement was recorded for three hours
The police also recorded the statement of Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz, who was at his Juhu residence at the time of the shootout but was aware of previous threats made to Salman by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Salman’s statement was recorded for three hours while his brother was questioned for two hours. In total, both brothers were asked more than 150 questions.
Salim Khan’s statement was not recorded
Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan was also present at home at the time of the firing but his statement has not been recorded due to his old age. According to sources, the Crime Branch will record his statement if needed.

Let us tell you that on April 14, two bike-borne men opened fire outside Salman Khan’s house in Bandra, Mumbai. Following the incident, the police arrested four suspects: Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, who were arrested in Gujarat, while Anuj Thapan and another man were detained in Punjab on April 26. In total, six arrests have been made. Anuj Thapan later died in police custody.
There was a conspiracy to attack Salman Khan’s car
According to the police, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly hatched a conspiracy to attack Salman Khan’s car in Panvel, Maharashtra, armed with Pakistani weapons. According to police sources, jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, along with his Canada-based cousin Anmol Bishnoi and associate Goldie Brar, had allegedly acquired AK-47s, M-16s and other high-caliber weapons from a Pakistani arms dealer. The plan was to either ambush Salman Khan’s car or attack his farmhouse in Panvel.
