Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan told how much fee he got for his first film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ and how much he is charging from the makers for a movie now.
On Raj Shamani’s podcast, Kartik Aaryan revealed his salary and also told that he used to get his first salary after deducting TDS. Kartik Aaryan was asked if his fees have really increased from 1 crore to 40 crores in the last five years? In response to this, the actor told that he got only 70 thousand rupees for working in ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. He was asked if he got 1 crore rupees for ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’? He said, ‘No, it is not like that. Till then I was not getting that much fee. After ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ I started earning good money.’
Karthik Aryan said- ‘I have got my increment’
Kartik Aaryan said, ‘10% of the fee I got for my first film, that is, 7 thousand rupees, was deducted as TDS. I used to get scared of TDS. I remember that my first fee was 1500 rupees, which I got for working in a commercial. I got about 70 thousand for my first film and now I have got an increment and I have reached here now.’
