While talking to Bollywood Bubble, Manoj Bajpayee mentioned this anecdote. He recalled Yash Chopra’s honest words and said, ‘The late filmmaker did not give him any false hopes. He did not promise me anything but said that he does not make my kind of films. He does not make films for people like me, so how can he promise me anything? And I found it very honest. He did not want to give me false hope, at the same time he had a lot of respect for me as an actor.’
