‘Lapata Ladies’ has surpassed Ranbir Kapoor-Rashmika Mandanna starrer blockbuster ‘Animal’ in terms of viewership in less than two months of its release. Lapata Ladies was released on Netflix in March this year, while Animal got its OTT release on the same platform i.e. Netflix on January 26, 2024.

In less than two months of its release, ‘Lapata Ladies’ has overtaken Animal on Netflix with 13.8 million views. However, in terms of viewership, it has not yet been able to overtake Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, which has received 14 million views on Netflix so far.
