New Delhi. Rajkumar Rao is currently seen in the film ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’ with Janhvi Kapoor. The actor’s acting in this film has been highly appreciated. During the promotion of the film, the couple participated in ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ streaming on Netflix. During the conversation with Kapil Sharma, Rajkumar Rao recalled his early days in the industry. He told that he did not have any work for 2 years.
According to the actor, the most difficult task for him was to get a chance in the first film and it took him 2 years to get work in the first film. The actor said on the show, ‘It was the most difficult task for me to get a chance in the first film. It took me 2 years. I used to go in search of work every day. I had no other option because I wanted to do acting only’.
The actor was a victim of a scam
The actor further told that he had also become a victim of a scam while looking for work. He was duped of ten thousand rupees in the name of giving him a break in the TV industry. A company had taken 10 thousand rupees to give him a break and then that company closed down overnight. Rajkumar Rao had told that his mother had borrowed that money from someone to fulfill his dream and all that money was lost.
