Manoj Bajpayee and Anurag Kashyap did not work together during the year 2000 to 2011. Recently, during a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actor told why he had not worked with Anurag Kashyap for 11 years. He says, ‘There was a misunderstanding between us and we did not talk about it. Then she became so big on social media. Sometimes when you are uncomfortable talking about something, it escalates.
The actor further says, ‘We did not talk because I felt that he was not making my kind of films. He felt that he did not need Manoj Bajpayee at that time because his career graph was going down. Both of us were busy in our respective lives. He didn’t need me and I didn’t need him.
The estrangement lasted for 11 years
Anurag Kashyap and Manoj Bajpayee worked together for the first time in the film ‘Satya’. Anurag was associated with this film as a writer. After ‘Satya’, the pair came together for the film ‘Shool’ and then for 11 years both of them never took the initiative to work with each other.
