It has been more than 21 days since ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ fame actor Gurucharan Singh went missing. The police have not been able to trace them yet. Now the father Hargeet Singh, who had filed the missing report of the actor, has once again spoken on the matter.
He said that he had no knowledge that Gurucharan was struggling with financial crisis. In fact, many reports claimed that Gurucharan had no money left.

Hargeet Singh said, ‘I have no information about the poor financial condition of my son. He never told me anything. If the police get information then I am sure they will definitely tell me. My age is such that my health is not good. Many days have passed but no positive news has been heard in this case. We are just waiting for Gurucharan to come back as soon as possible.
Police reached the sets of Taarak Mehta
The police is trying to trace Gurucharan. Meanwhile, Delhi Police had recently reached the sets of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ to interrogate his co-stars.
According to production head Sohil Ramani, the police visited the set as part of their investigation. He also wanted to know whether all the dues of Gurucharan were cleared from our end or not. We told them that all their payments had already been cleared. We hope that they will be found soon.
Gurucharan gained popularity with the character of Roshan Singh Sodhi in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.
Police are searching after registering a case of kidnapping.
It has been three weeks since Gurucharan went missing. Following his father’s complaint, Delhi Police has registered a case of kidnapping and is searching for the 50-year-old actor.
The actor’s last location was found just a few kilometers away from his house in Palam, Delhi. He withdrew Rs 7,000 from the ATM and then his phone was switched off.
No information since 22nd April
Actor Gurcharan Singh left for Mumbai from Delhi on April 22, after which there is no news from him. The actor had left the TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ to take care of his father during the lockdown in 2020. After staying away from acting, Gurucharan lives with his parents in Delhi.
Left the show after dispute with producer
Gurucharan Singh remained a part of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ from its inception till 2013. Later, due to some dispute with producer Asit Modi, he left the show.
However, by then he had become so popular that on public demand the producers had to bring him back in the show. After making a comeback, he did this show for 6 years.
