New Delhi. ‘Gadar 2’, released in the year 2023, proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel played the lead roles in it. This movie was directed by Anil Sharma. Now Ameesha Patel has made a shocking revelation. She claimed that Anil Sharma had a hidden agenda regarding ‘Gadar 2’. Ameesha also revealed that she had made many improvements in the film along with Sunny Deol.
In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Ameesha Patel said, ‘Sunny Deol and I made a lot of improvements in Gadar 2 because it was being taken in a direction that we were not happy with. For this, we did several re-shoots and also did a lot of editing on our part. The journey of making this film was not easy.’
‘The film was going in the wrong direction’
He further said, ‘Both of us did a lot of editing and re-shooting. We both had a lot of creative discussions with the director to make Gadar 2 and there were many arguments between us. Sunny and I were almost like semi ghost directors of the film. The film was being taken in another direction, which we had to pull back, because the Gadar brand has always been of Sakina and Tara.’
