Fardeen Khan has returned to the screen after 14 years with ‘Heeramandi’, in which his work was appreciated. He had distanced himself from the film industry after ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’. He debuted in 1998 with ‘Prem Aggan’, which was a flop. The actor said that he was not fully prepared for his first film. He said, ‘I was definitely not prepared for my first film. Then, working with a father who had a larger than life personality was not easy. I was very scared of him. He was generous, but you would not want to mess with him.
