Mumbai. Director and scriptwriter Biju Vattapara passed away. He was 54 years old. Along with films, he also directed TV shows and documentaries. He lived in Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam. He had fallen in the house. In an unconscious state, he was taken to Taluka Hospital, where he was declared dead. Biju worked in films like ‘Ram Ravana’, ‘Swantham Karyam Zindabad’ and ‘My Dear Mummy’. He also wrote scripts for films like Kalabhavan Mani starrer ‘Lokanathan IAS’.
Biju Vattapara also wrote the script of the film ‘Kalabham’. He also wrote novels like ‘Chakkar Vava’ and ‘Velutha Katharina’ and many stories and poems. He won the Kadavanad Kuttikrishnan Literary Award for his poetry collection ‘Edavazhiyum Thumbapoovum’.
Buji Vattapara was also an active worker of film organizations. He also worked as the personal secretary of Kamala Suraiya. FEFKA Directors Association condoles the demise of Biju Vattappara.
