New Delhi: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has confirmed the news of an attack against her in Mumbai. Raveena Tandon was attacked on Saturday night when she was trying to defend her driver. The actress was accused of attacking three women, including an elderly woman, when her driver allegedly hit them with his car. But, CCTV footage made it clear that the allegations are false and Raveena has not yet released any formal statement. However, she has shared the statements given by the police officials investigating the incident.
A senior Mumbai police official told Mid-Day, “The complainant has made a false complaint in that video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress’ driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if there was anyone else behind the car before reversing. This led to an argument between them.” He concluded his statement by saying, “No one was injured in this incident. We checked the CCTV footage and found that the car did not hit anyone.”
Raveena shared a statement on Instagram Stories to clarify the allegations against her. On Sunday, a source also shared details of the incident with News18. The source told us, “The way the incident has been portrayed is wrong. CCTV footage from the area proves that a group of women came outside Raveena Tandon’s house in the evening and they were the ones who started shouting and fighting with the driver. She joined them only to save her driver.”

According to the complainant, Raveena Tandon’s car hit her mother near the law college and the car was being driven by the actress’s driver.
