South superstar Chiyaan Vikram’s next film is ‘Tangalan’. Recently the makers of the film hosted its audio launch event in Chennai.
On this occasion, actor Vikram talked about the incident in his life which changed his life. The actor also mentioned the accident that happened on the sets of the film.
During the event, Vikram also got emotional while mentioning this incident.
The leg was torn from the knee to the heel
According to a report in Times of India, at the event, Vikram revealed that when he was young, in college and working hard to become an actor, he met with a terrible accident.
He was about to take part in a college play before which he met with this accident in which his leg was torn from the knee to the heel.
This accident of Vikram happened when he was studying in college.
The doctors had advised to amputate the leg
After this, Vikram had to spend 3 years in the hospital. His condition was so bad that the doctors suggested amputating his injured leg.
Eventually, after 23 surgeries in 3 years, Vikram’s leg healed but he kept getting infections occasionally even after that. Despite all this, nothing could stop him from achieving his goal.
Vikram had completely transformed himself for the film ‘Tangal’.
Broken rib during the shooting of ‘Tangal’
On this occasion, Vikram also mentioned the accident that happened on the sets of the film ‘Tangal’. The actor told that his rib was broken while shooting an action scene, but he still continued shooting for this film.
‘Rajamouli and I will do a film someday’
Meanwhile, there is a buzz that Vikram will also be seen in director Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s next film ‘SSMB29’. The actor also spoke about this in a recent media interaction.
Vikram said, ‘Rajamouli Garu is a good friend. We have been talking for a long time. Surely, we will do a film someday.’
There is talk that Vikram will be seen in the role of a villain in Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s film ‘SSMB29’.
‘Tanglan’ will be released on August 15
Vikram has worked very hard for his role in the film ‘Tangallan’. He has completely transformed himself. This film directed by Pa Ranjith will be released in five languages on August 15.
Apart from Vikram, many actors including Malavika Mohanan, Pashupati and Hari Krishnan will be seen in the film. Its story is based on the real history of Kolar Gold Fields.
