Chiranjeevi appeals to the central government, this famous South actor who has worked in 300 films should be awarded Bharat Ratna

New Delhi: Megastar Chiranjeevi paid tribute to actor and politician NTR on his 101st birth anniversary on May 28 (Tuesday). He also appealed to the central government to honour the late legend with the prestigious Bharat Ratna. In his tribute post on his official Instagram, he mentioned that some people’s fame is immortal and NTR was one of them. On May 28, Chiranjeevi shared an old photo with NTR, in which the actor-politician had his hand on his shoulder. The ‘Acharya’ actor, writing in Telugu, wrote that Bharat Ratna would be a fitting tribute to NTR.

In Telugu, he wrote, ‘The fame of some people is immortal and lasts for many generations. They were an example for future generations. As I remember Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao today, I feel that the Bharat Ratna award would be a better tribute to his service in public life. I hope the Central Government will fulfill this long-standing desire of the Telugu people.’
