Chandu Champion Review: ‘I am not Chandu, I am the champion’, Kartik Aaryan shines in the role of Muralikant Petkar, the best performance till date

New Delhi: Chandu Champion will win your heart and fill your mind with deep emotions of life. The film, full of brilliant acting by Kartik Aaryan, is the story of the life of the famous personality Murlikant Petkar. The film is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson. The film takes you back to the era of 1970, when Murlikant Petkar became an Olympic champion despite all the obstacles.

The film shows that Murlikant Petkar dreams of winning an Olympic medal since childhood. He is inspired by Dara Singh and starts wrestling from childhood. He learns the tricks of wrestling by watching other wrestlers in the ring. When he defeats his opponent in a local competition without any formal training, people are surprised. The first half of the film shows his journey from a young man to a professional player, who later becomes a soldier in the Indian Army.

Kartik Aaryan became ‘Chandu Champion’ and acted with full dedication
After watching the film, some viewers may compare it with ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. In both the films, the hero is seen doing rigorous training in a military training camp. In the first half of the film, you will see Kartik Aaryan having fun, eating and drinking and training a lot with his friends. He emerges from a wrestler to a boxer in the training center. Kartik’s transformation in the character of Murali may remind you of Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Rocky’.

The story is great and the direction is also amazing
The second half of the film takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Murali becomes paralyzed after being hit by 9 bullets in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, after which the kind of physical and mental pain he goes through makes the audience emotional. In the second half, the story of Murali’s transformation from a common man to a Paralympic gold medalist gives the audience a special experience. Kartik Aaryan has given the best performance of his career in the film. Vijay Raj, Rajpal Yadav and Bhuvan Arora have also done justice to their respective roles. With Kabir Khan’s direction and a brilliant story, ‘Chandu Champion’ has become a memorable experience for the audience.
