Mumbai. Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 1: Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Chandu Champion’ has made a good start at the box office. The film has done a very good collection on the first day itself according to initial estimates and advance booking. The film has collected around Rs 4.75 crore. This will surely make the makers happy. According to film trade analyst site Sacnilk, the Hindi occupancy of Chandu Champion, released on June 14, was 16.84 percent. The film collected Rs 4.74 crore.
‘Chandu Champion’ is getting positive response and reviews from critics as well as audiences. The film is expected to have a good collection over the weekend due to positive reviews. Apart from Kartik Aaryan, Vijay Raj, Rajpal Yadav and Shreyas Talpade are also in important roles in the film. Vijay Raj’s acting is also being praised a lot.
‘Chandu Champion’ is directed by Kabir Khan. The film is based on the life of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist winner Muralikant Petkar. News18 Showsha gave Chandu Champion a rating of 4/5. Talking about Karthik’s performance in the film, our critics said, “Karthik has given the best performance of his career.”
To play the role of a freestyle swimmer in the film, Karthik underwent tough training, which included reducing his weight from 90 kg to 72 kg and his body fat from 39% to 7%.
