The police has formed an SIT in the case of slapping of film actress and Himachal’s Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport. Harveer Singh Atwal SP City Mohali has been made in-charge of this SIT. Airport DSP Kuljinder Singh and police station Prabha have been made in-charge.

Report will be prepared on the basis of CCTV footage
SP City Harveer Singh Atwal said that the CCTV cameras installed at the airport will be examined in this entire case. The people who are seen present at the spot in those cameras will also be questioned. Both the parties will be called and they will also be investigated in this matter. After this, a report will be prepared on the basis of whatever evidence is there and given to the higher officials. No time limit has been set for this yet. Because many people will be involved in this. Due to this, the interrogation may also take time.

Regarding this matter, yesterday farmers had gathered outside Gurdwara Amb Sahib in Mohali in support of CISF Jawan Kulwinder Kaur. After this, they took out a foot march. During the march, they reached the SSP office of Mohali. Where they submitted their memorandum to SSP Mohali. In this, they had demanded the dismissal of the case against CISF Jawan Kulwinder Kaur. After this, Punjab Police has decided to form this SIT.
The protesters were compared to ‘Khalistanis’ and terrorists
