Cannes Film Festival: Sunanda Sharma won hearts with her desi style, posed on the red carpet wearing a Punjabi suit

New Delhi: Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma termed it a big victory for the Punjabi community by promoting Punjabi culture in the prestigious 77th Cannes Film Festival 2024. He showcased the rich heritage of Punjab by wearing a traditional Punjabi suit. The singer wore an ivory colored suit. She completed her look with a nose ring and maang tikka.

Sunanda said, ‘It is a great honor to represent our culture and roots at the Cannes Film Festival. Being here is not just an individual achievement, but a victory for the entire Punjabi community. I hope this moment inspires others to embrace their heritage and celebrate with pride. Sunanda started her singing career with the song ‘Billi Akh’. She made her acting debut in 2018 with ‘Sajjan Singh Rangrut’ alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Yograj Singh.

Have worked with big stars
The 32 year old singer started her Bollywood career with the song ‘Tere Naal Nachna’. After this, she lent her voice in the song ‘Poster Lagwa Do’ from Kartik Aryan’s film ‘Luka Chuppi’ and the song ‘Mummy Nu Pasand’ from the film ‘Jai Mummy Di’. In 2021, she also sang for Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer B Praak’s music video ‘Baarish Ki Jaaye’.
