Rajkummar Rao’s film ‘Srikanth’ and Hollywood film ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ were released together last week.

Now after 6 days, Srikanth has earned Rs 16.61 at the Indian box office. Whereas ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ has done a business of Rs 17.55 crore in the same number of days.

First let’s talk about the film Srikanth which has collected Rs 1 crore 50 lakh on Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday the film had earned Rs 1 crore 48 lakh and on Monday it had earned Rs 1 crore 69 lakh.

Even during working days, this film is doing good business with the help of mouth publicity.

Highest number of viewers in Chennai
On Wednesday, Srikanth got 10.59% occupancy. Night shows saw the highest occupancy of 14.09%. The film got maximum audience in South. Its occupancy was the highest among 31 shows in Chennai at 22.75%.

Rajkummar Rao, Jyotika and Alaya F starrer Srikanth is directed by director Tushar Hiranandani. This is the biopic of industrialist Shrikant Bola.

Now talking about the Hollywood film ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’, it earned Rs 1 crore 79 lakh on Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday, the film had done a business of approximately Rs 2 lakh.

This film also got the highest occupancy in Chennai itself. Its occupancy in 47 shows was 15.33%.

Globally, this film has so far collected 141.5 million dollars i.e. approximately Rs 1 thousand 181 crore.
