Border-2 will be released on Republic Day, 2026. The makers have made its official announcement. The film will be released worldwide on 23 January 2026. Earlier yesterday, Sunny Deol had announced the film through a video. The first part of the film was released in 1997. This film, directed by JP Dutta, was a blockbuster. Now after 27 years, its second part has been announced.
Border-2 will be jointly produced by T-Series and JP Dutta, while it will be directed by Anurag Singh. Anurag had also directed Akshay Kumar’s film Kesari. The shooting of the film may begin in October this year.

The film ‘Border’ was released in 1997. Made in 10 crores, this film collected 66 crores. It was the second biggest film of that year after Shahrukh starrer ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’.
