Bollywood stars expressed their anger on Kolkata rape case, appealed to the government- ‘Hang him to death’

New Delhi: The incident of rape and murder of a female doctor in Kolkata has shocked the entire country. Along with the common people, film stars are also expressing their anger over the matter. They are talking about taking strict action against the culprit. Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Anushka Sharma expressed grief and anger over the rape incident. Parineeti Chopra said that the culprit should be hanged.

Alia Bhatt compared the Kolkata doctor rape and murder incident to the Nirbhaya rape case of 2012. She said that women are not safe anywhere, for which very little changes have been made. Parineeti Chopra said on the rape incident, ‘If it is difficult for you to read, then imagine what it must be like for her. Very disgusting and horrific. Hang her.’

Anushka Sharma expressed grief over the incident of rape and murder of a female trainee doctor at ‘Kolkata RG Kar Medical College’. She expressed her anger on Instagram. The actress wrote in her Instagram story, ‘What argument will you give this time or is it her fault here too, because a man will remain a man, right?’

Indo-Canadian Punjabi sensation AP Dhillon has also expressed anger and disappointment over the rape incident. AP Dhillon wrote on Instagram Stories, ‘When I woke up today, I wanted to put my thoughts out in the only way I know how.’ He also wrote a tribute song along with a clip, in which heartbroken emojis have been shared. In the song, AP Dhillon demanded justice for the victim. He talked about the innate strength of women and how society is failing.

Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, parineeti chopra
