Auditioned for 2 films of Anushka Sharma, got rejected, debuted with a 2021 flop, heroine became a star with ‘Munjya’

Mumbai. Sharvari Wagh’s film ‘Munjya’ is rocking the box office. The film has collected more than Rs 20 crore in the first weekend. She must be happy because last week’s Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is still at the box office and has collected less than Rs 30 crore. At the same time, Sharvari is getting praise for her acting in the film. A video of her is going viral in which she revealed that she had auditioned for Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sui Dhaaga’ and ‘Sultan’.

Sharvari Wagh told Bollywood Bubble in an interview that she has been auditioning at YRF for many years and has also auditioned for Anushka Sharma’s ‘Sui Dhaaga’ and ‘Sultan’. She said, “During the audition, people do not tell you which film we are auditioning for, at least in the initial stages.”

Sharvari Wagh said, “I remember auditioning for ‘Sui Dhaaga’ and ‘Sultan’. Actually, I got a random call asking me to come for an introduction and their casting office was in Juhu. I have given many auditions and I don’t even know which film or show it is. Honestly, I used to give auditions every 2-3 months.”
