Anurag Kashyap came out in support of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, again targeted Bollywood, called the ‘Animal’ director ‘true’

In an interview given to Zoom TV, Anurag once again targeted the Hindi film industry and supported Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director of the controversial film ‘Animal’.

Anurag said in his interview, ‘I like Sandeep. I have no problem with him, he doesn’t pretend like other people in the industry. He at least makes films with truth. I think pretending is even more toxic. I don’t like anything more than the truth. I like Sandeep.’

Let us tell you, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Animal’ was accused of being an anti-women film. This film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana and Anil Kapoor may have earned a lot at the box office, but this film was in controversy from the very beginning. While participating in his daughter Aaliya Kashyap’s podcast, Anurag Kashyap had revealed the reason behind supporting Sandeep Reddy Vanga amidst the controversies. He had said that many times in the industry, a group is formed against a filmmaker and then everyone targets him. At that time, he had said that he had gone through this when his film ‘Dev D’ was opposed by calling it anti-women.
