The controversy over Annu Kapoor’s film ‘Humare Barah’ is not taking the name of ending. The producer and actors of this film made on a controversial subject are constantly receiving death and rape threats from unknown people.

Some of the actors of the film had lodged a complaint at Versova Police Station in Mumbai four days ago. Now actor Annu Kapoor has issued a video message and given his clarification on the film. He has also sought protection from Maharashtra Police and Home Ministry.

Annu said, ‘After watching the teaser of this film, we, our artists and the director are getting death threats.

We are getting these threats on social media and through phone calls too… but I would like to tell my team that there is no need to panic. Such things have happened many times before.

Annu further said- ‘I appeal to people not to form their opinion without watching the film. Our film talks about women empowerment and population control. Do not form your opinion on social media without watching it. Our aim is not to criticize any religion.’
