Alia Bhatt’s deepfake video is going viral on social media. This is the second time Alia’s deepfake video has surfaced. A user named Sameeksha Avatar has uploaded the video on Instagram. This video has been viewed more than 17 million times so far. Sameeksha Avatar has written in her Instagram bio, ‘All videos created using AI are made for entertainment only.’ In the deepfake video, Alia Bhatt is shown wearing a black kurta, she is getting ready. Throughout the clip, she is seen doing makeup in front of the camera.

Kajol’s video of changing clothes also went viral
Some time ago, a video of Kajol went viral in which she was seen changing clothes. Fact check revealed that it was a deepfake video created by an influencer in June.
What is Deepfake?
Deepfake is a kind of fake video, however, in this the face, voice or expression is changed so meticulously using AI tools that it is difficult to differentiate between real and fake. The cases of deepfake videos have increased more with the advent of AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools, because videos can be easily edited through these tools.
First of all, face morphing takes place in deepfakes, in which the face of another person is added to the body of one person. Along with changing the face, a person’s clothes, expressions and voice can also be tampered with.
This type of technology is mostly used in porn sites. A person’s photos are converted into nude photos and uploaded to these sites. With the advent of deepfake, the risk of identity has increased significantly.
