Akshay Kumar recently spoke openly about his family life, praised his wife Twinkle Khanna and also shared stories about his life. Akshay also talked about the difference between his hard-working nature and Twinkle’s intellectual abilities. He gave credit to Twinkle for his daughter being intelligent.
On Jio Cinema’s show Dhawan Karenge, Akshay said during a conversation with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan – My daughter gets intelligence from my wife Twinkle. I am an illiterate man, not much educated. I work as a donkey, she is the one with brains.

He further said- I consider myself lucky to marry the daughter of superstar Rajesh Khanna, but I am also lucky because she is a good wife and a good mother. If you find the right partner in life then your life becomes perfect.
She takes care of the kids alone while I am at work. I am shocked at how my wife looks at life even today. She is now 50 years old and still goes to study. She has completed her master’s degree and is now doing PhD.

He said- There will be very few people like me. When I go to London, I drop my daughter to school, drop my son to college and last of all drop my wife to college. And then, like an ‘illiterate’, I return home and watch cricket the whole day. Let us tell you, Twinkle has recently completed her master’s degree from London University.
Akshay said that despite his desire to go back to college and study, he is unable to go simply because looking at books makes him cry. Shikhar jokingly said that while Twinkle has read all the books in the library, Akshay cannot bring himself to read even a single book.
Akshay had said that in his childhood he was only interested in sports. He said- My parents understood that I was zero in studies and they pushed me towards sports. Talking about the work front, Akshay was recently seen in the film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan with Tiger Shroff.
