Akshay Kumar’s recently released film ‘Sarfira’ has flopped badly. If we look at the last 10 films of the actor’s career released before this, then except ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘OMG 2’, the remaining 8 films flopped.
Now Akshay Kumar has broken his silence on the continuous flops of his films. The actor said that this is very sad and it also has an impact.
‘Sarfira’, released on July 12, proved to be another disaster in Akshay’s career.
‘Feeling sad will not change the fate of the film’
In an interview to Forbes India, Akshay said about his continuously flopping films, ‘There is a lot of blood, sweat and passion behind every film. It is very sad to see one of your films fail but every time failure teaches you the value of success.
Luckily, I learnt this early in my career. Of course, you will be sad and this failure will affect you, but it will not change the fate of that film.
I am moving on to the next film: Akshay
Akshay further said, ‘Some things are not in your control… but you just have to work hard. So improve yourself further and give your all for the next film. Give it your all.
That’s how I invest my energy and move on to the next film. I put my energy in the right place, where it really matters.’
Even after so many flops, he has 10 films in hand
However, despite giving so many flop films, Akshay has at least 10 films in his hand right now. These include multi-starrer films like ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Welcome to the Jungle’.
Akshay’s next film is ‘Khel Khel Mein’ which will be released on 15th August.
‘Sarfira’ is made in 100 crores
‘Sarfira’ is a remake of South actor Surya’s National Award winning film ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Made on a budget of 100 crores, this film has so far collected only 21 crores. It was released in theatres on 12th July.
