After ‘Singham Again’, ‘Pushpa 2’ release date changed! Now Ajay Devgan-Allu Arjun will clash on Diwali, this is the reason

Mumbai. The release date of Allu Arjun’s much awaited film ‘Pushpa: The Rule i.e. Pushpa 2’ has been postponed. This means that the film will no longer be released on 15th August. A day earlier, the makers of ‘Singham Again’ had also postponed its release date and announced its release on the occasion of Diwali. Earlier, Ajay Devgan cop franchise was going to be released at the box office along with ‘Pushpa 2’. The release date of both the films was announced last year itself. Whereas the shooting of both the films was not completed.

‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Singham Again’ are mega budget films. Both the films have a huge fan following. When their release dates were announced, even then the fans fought among themselves and demanded that the release of the films be postponed or advanced. Now after the release of ‘Singham Again’ being postponed, there is talk of the release of ‘Pushpa the Rule’ being postponed.

According to Track Tollywood, the release of ‘Pushpa 2’ has been postponed indefinitely due to some post-production work. The film’s editor Karthik Srinivas has left the project. Sources say that director Sukumar is thinking of reworking some parts of the film due to VFX.

Sukumar wants to reshoot for better quality. However, there is no official confirmation from the filmmaker on postponing the film’s release. It is now expected to release during Diwali. If this happens, then there is bound to be a clash between Ajay and Allu Arjun at the box office.

After the news of the postponement of the release dates of ‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Singham Again’, the makers of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films are now preparing to release their films on 15th August and in the weeks around it. The process has already begun. The release date of Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree 2’ has been announced recently and the film will be released on 15th August.
