Sonakshi Sinha is going to marry her long time partner Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. After the wedding invitation of the two got leaked, actress Poonam Dhillon also recently confirmed that she has received an invitation from the couple.
Now rapper Honey Singh has also confirmed the news of their marriage. Honey shared an Insta story related to this and wrote that he will definitely attend Sonakshi’s wedding.
Sonakshi and Honey have worked together in music videos like ‘Desi Kalakar’ (2014) and ‘Kalastar’ (2023).

Sharing a story on Instagram on Saturday, Honey wrote, ‘These days I am in London and shooting for the first song of ‘Glory’ but I will take out time to attend my best friend Sonakshi’s wedding. She has been a great support in my career and has helped me in many difficult situations in life. Best wishes to power couple Zaheer and Sona. May Lord Shiva bless both of them.’
Pahlaj is a very close and old friend of Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan. In February last year, Shatrughan also inaugurated Nihalani’s Nishat Cinema.

On the other hand, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha’s close friend and filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani has also confirmed this news. In an interview to Zoom, Pahlaj said, ‘I am Sonakshi’s maternal uncle. My prayers are with her and Zaheer. Finally both of them are getting married, I wish them all the best.’
Pahlaj further said, ‘Nowadays children take their own decisions. After all, they have to spend the rest of their lives with them, parents should be happy with their decisions.’

Registered marriage on the morning of 23 June, party in the evening
Sonakshi and Zaheer will have a registered marriage on June 23. On the same day in the evening, both of them will host a grand reception party at Bastian Restaurant in Mumbai.
On the work front, Sonakshi started her career in 2010 with Salman’s film ‘Dabangg’. She has appeared in many films till now including ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ‘Lootera’, ‘Holiday’, ‘Kalank’, ‘Dabangg 3’ and ‘Double XL’.
Sonakshi has been well received in the role of Faridan in the webseries ‘Heeramandi’ which was released on 1 May.
